THE WELLBANK PARK COMMUNITY HUB
At the heart of WELLBANK PARK will be the Community Hub. Residents can amble past the landscapes ponds to reach the Hub. This expansive building will be designed in timber and glass to sit comfortably into its rural surroundings. Our vision is that this will become the busy, central point where residents can meet, engage and socialise together.
As part of a healthy and socially active lifestyle, residents will have a host of facilities on their doorstep at the Hub to enjoy:
-
-
- A Cafe & Bistro
- Leisure Swimming Pool
- Hydrotherapy Pool
- Meeting and Activity Rooms
- Co-Working Area
- Community Exhibition Space
-
AN ACCESSIBLE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT
EASY ACCESS FOR ALL
Accessibility has always been an integral element of the master plan for WELLBANK PARK.
The award-winning Brickhouse Farm Cottages will be creating 8 accessible holiday accommodation buildings for families, friends, and carers. Overlooking one of the two lakes on the development, the buildings will be of the highest of accessibility standards and unique for anywhere in the Lake District National Park.
As part of the Community Hub, we envisage a hydrotherapy pool, gym, and a sensory room, set amongst a spacious landscaped with wheelchair accessible path and cycleways. the site has been designed with inclusivity in mind.
