We are pleased to welcome Trudy Harrison onto the WELLBANK PARK team. As a long-time resident of Bootle and former MP for Copeland, there a few better placed to explain why a move to Cumbria, and in particular to WELLBANK PARK, is a great move!
Trudy has lived in and around the Western Lake District all her life, and in Bootle since 2002. The friendliness of the pretty village, Captain Shaw’s CE Primary school and the outstanding natural landscape were important factors in her family choosing to be part of the Bootle community.
In her new, customer facing role at WELLBANK, Trudy’s extensive knowledge of the region, it’s local services and employers will be crucial to communicating the benefits of living in our community. Having been involved in the ‘WELLBANK Project’ from its early days, Trudy has been central to the ethos of the development. In this new role, she will work on developing enquiries and hosting potential homeowners and other visitors on-site. Her role will also be key to explaining the various different ways in which people can build a home at WELLBANK PARK. Whether they are keen to start with a blank sheet and do a Full Custom Build or prefer to choose from one of our Build-Off Plan options, Trudy will be on hand to discuss the possibilities, show people around the plots and introduce them to our custom-build partner – Hugr Homes.
TRUDY WELCOMES MP MICHELLE SCROGHAM ON SITE
We were also delighted to recently host the new Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness Mrs Michelle Scrogham on site at WELLBANK PARK. In a form of ‘Parliamentary Handover’ Trudy welcomed Mrs Scrogham, showing her the first three homes currently in the process of being completed and talking her through our wider vision for the development.

As part of the visit, Trudy introduced Joe and Jack, two of WELLBANK’s construction team members.
She spoke with Joe and Jack about their opportunity to learn practical skills and complimented the site’s stunning location. Noting the impressive view of Blackcombe and the surrounding Lakeland fells, Michelle was also able to see the proximity of the site to the coast.
Michelle commented “I just cannot imagine a better site to build a home and live as part of a thriving community”. And nor can we! This was high praise indeed and we very much hope our new MP will champion the development and Bootle community across the constituency and in Parliament. We all wish Mrs Scrogham the very best in her new role and hope she’ll come back soon to see our progress.
